Issue Based Consulting
Business Case: "We are loosing market share and we don't know why."
Overview: IBC adopts a 5-stage process: Definition (proposal), approach
(issue diagram, storyboard), data summary (data gathering, summary and
cross check), construction (logic diagram test, horizontal and vertical
logic) and recommendation (final report). Client objectives are
translated into issues, hypotheses, key questions and mapped to a
storyboard, based on data gathered. From the final storyboard, you then
create key findings, conclusions and recommendations. Final step is the
formation of a full report.
Benefits: Structured problem-solving approach, which helps the client
to address the real issues, which they feel but are not fully aware of
the facts behind.
Outcome: Final Report enables executive management to make the right decision, such as which initiatives to start with.
